Yeah, I did it before the interview too but only went back to the second page. I thought it would be ok to go back now as I've had my interview! I have emailed technical support and hope they can set it to keep my edited form; I just wrote no in the more info box at first so I could get to the next pages and book my interview slot asap, so I will be gutted if they don't allow you to edit it! It isn't a very good system :frown:
And it says we might not hear back until June so I don't think they will have allocated people/locations yet

I was the same, I was in such a panic to make sure I could get an interview time that would work that I really rushed through the questions without much thought. Hope we can edit it now, but have emailed technical support to check before trying again, so will post on here if they get back.

I would advise anyone who gets an interview invite in the coming weeks not to panic like I did. There seemed to be plenty of different time slots to suit, but you have to write about dependants and mortgages etc and give the details for three referees before you get there. If I was doing it again I would take a deep breath and really think about what I wanted to write before launching in at 100mph!! :colondollar:

when you book for the interview slot online then they will ask you for 3 referees (name/email, phn, address)... if you pass the interview stage they (the hospital/dept you will be working) will contact the referees straight...

and in the online booking form they will also ask for the reason behind your location-preferences!!!

Hmm... 3 refs and reasons behind location preferences....

- what references can you put? and is there any limit to how long you have been with them anyone know?
- in regards to the location prefs what on earth can you put????? My reasons were either my specialism only specialise in the area selected (wasnt much choice lol) and also cos of closer to home. What have you guys put?

THANKS also to FID10 reading you reply put me at ease and hope everyting goes okay for you.....as my hands are even going cold typing this lool haha :P Hmm, what sort of things did you put for the above?
I didn't know they ask you sooo many questions it's stupid really...

Ok so I just went on their facebook site and I've confused and scared myself, have they sent ALL of the emails out for every specialism? Or have they only sent them for the two that were mentioned earlier? I understood that they were sending the emails out from tomorrow?

I was under the impression that the only invites that had been sent out were for Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering. I think I read somewhere that they were hoping to start contacting the other specialisms from tomorrow. Good luck everyone!!

I put down a couple of academic references and a work reference. I don't think it mentioned anywhere any conditions on how long they have known you or anything, but I was rushing so could have missed something.

There wasn't anywhere to put location preferences that I can remember. To my recollection it was just a short form with questions about whether or not you are a carer, have dependants and if you have a mortgage. Wish I had thought to take screen shots now!! You can go back to the page when you log into the account, but it seems to get stuck if you do, and then technical support have to sort it out! I was so nervous waiting to hear about interviews. I think there is so much pressure because it is pretty much the only way into the career, it is so competitive and only happens once a year! Does everyone else feel the same?

Ok cool, that's what I thought, but on their facebook page loads of people were talking about interview invites and they didn't mention the specialism so I got worried lol.

Thank you.

Just logged into the milkround site and I can see they have added interview slots for the blood science specialisms, reproductive science and cytopathology etc for 16th to 18th April, so would imagine they are planning on sending out those emails soon. Good luck everyone

It doesn't seem to be a great system, after I booked my interview for Medical Physics a couple of weeks ago it seems I can still see the booking page, even though the interview slots listed aren't for my specialty. Hopefully they will send out the emails soon and that page will be visible to those with interviews. Quite scary that it seems as though I have the ability to book an interview for a specialty that I haven't applied to though!! :s-smilie:

Hello mate, have you heard back from scottish scheme?
If you don't get an interview do they still email you? Been waiting all day but so far nothing. Guess it might just be sometime this week but was wondering they would
email you at all if you don't get one.

Thanks

Latest update on the FB page:

BREAKING NEWS - IMPORTANT STP INTERVIEW UPDATE

We have just had an update on short-listing from the scientists. First of it has taken them a lot longer than they expected due to the quality & volume of forms so well done everyone. They expect to get all the outstanding short-listing results to us by 5th April. It normally takes us a few days to turn this around so by 12th April everyone should have heard if they are to be invited to an interview or not. As soon as we have results to share we will email candidates & post an update on this page. So no need to ask when results are going out as we will post on this page as soon as know. Apologies for the delay & good luck everyone.

Yay more waiting! :frown:
So does that time table posted earlier for the interviews still stand? Because if they're in may isn't that going to interfere with exams?

I think you're getting confused, as far as I was aware the interview timetable is set in stone
