Initially, on and off now.

I don't like the idea of it, I'm afraid.

Why are you afraid?? :erm: there's no harm in just trying, honestly, it won't hurt you.

 and it's good the counselling did help.

I think you mean 700k?

yeh, haha. stupid mistake:colondollar:
No, that's abstinence. Celibacy is when you don't have sex at all. It is a conscious decision, however.

I'll think about it.

Thanks, the last few months have been declining, but I hope them to rise.

I'd consider myself rather low. My sex drive is absent.

I've never ever gotten the idea of flirting, etc though. I find it odd to find someone attractive. Never made sense to me (however I do, but I try to ignore it), like its simply a pre-programmed thing we do, i.e like wanting to look after babies, etc for when you have one of your own, or girls finding them sweet. Another pre-programmed state of mind that controls us in some way deep deep in our subconscience.

That said, I wouldn't consider myself a-sexual. I do however find myself very picky to who I find attractive.

I definitely think that it's possible. I was wondering whether I was asexual at one point, but then I just spent one long night thinking about it, and... yeah I'm not going to go into the details, but yeah, I'm most likely straight lol.

I am also sure that there's two different types of asexuality, romantic and aromantic, and that you can find the idea of sex disgusting (or at the least not entertaining) but still find people attractive, and that you could still have sex, but it would more be for procreation than for recreation. That would be pretty awkward... this whole paragraph is all pretty awkward.

That confuses me. I couldn't even imagine what I would want to do, to get turned on in the first place. Maybe my imagination is useless for that kind of thing.

I think I would enjoy sex, but I have no real desire to chase for it, but still get down when girls don't seem to have any interest in me.

A lot has changed though. I think partly my loss of libido is caused by my state of mind/mood at this moment in my life.

I suppose if you are an asexual, and you don't have sexual desires, you'd have to take Viagra or something. I can't really imagine how it would work, or how it would feel. You'd probably feel more like a sex slave than a husband/wife, though.

I think I do have sexual desires, but I'm closing them off. I don't chase anyone, and doubt I ever will. I do and don't mind that I don't have anyone yet, or ever have. I doubt that mind set will change.

Your thoughts please, thank you.

Does anyone else identify themselves as asexual?

Yes it's possible. No I wouldn't say I was:smile:

I honestly doubt you are, do you feel sexual attraction towards women?
