Have you ever heard a Scottish person talking? I'm guessing no. :lolwut:

I am Scottish yaaaall.
Pretty sure after 20s or so there's a seagull in the background :sly: or maybe I'm just hearing things

Sound like ****ing Hermione Granger.

EDIT: I don't know where the '****ing' came from, apologies.

I like Hermione, so thanks I guess  Haha that's ok

Haha, I'll just give this a go: http://vocaroo.com/i/s1zO5ClKFuwL

I've had people tell me that I speak posh, but I really dunno what they're on about, especially after listening to this recording of myself . But yeah, you make up your own minds :p:

You have a proper south London accent lol. You don't sound posh at all.
You're more than welcome ... Since you might throw in a 'Final Fantasy', maybe throw in a 'Paddy' too! Haha :teehee:

It sounds nothing like any Scottish accent I've ever heard! I'm from Glasgow though, with a pretty broad accent!
It just means carry on with your business :sly: Don't let me keep you

Maybe it's just English accents I like?

Ah cool. Well, I really like Scottish accents, so I guess we're even now

Thanks :h:

Lol yeah, I agree with you from listening to that recording. There are probably times when I do sound more posh, and I think my speech shifts from time to time between more proper and well spoken to being a bit more urban and slangy, if that makes sense lol. I guess it depends what mood I'm in and/or what situation/context I'm speaking in. Though I'm pretty sure my Scottish boyfriend must be exaggerating largely about how posh I speak, but I guess maybe it's posh compared to how he speaks
I keep meaning to post mine. Will do it at some point.

Surrey accent is fantastic, I could listen to it all day.

'As you were' basically means 'no problem, ignore me and carry on.'
