I dont know if this has already been asked, but is anyone taking their consoles + TV with them?

I am  I'm just bringing a smaller tv though since I doubt a 32" tv will fit

My main concern is if there will be enough space on my desk for a tv + console along with all the other things.

Hopefully! I'll be using a lapotop rather than desktop so that will save some room. I'm also in superior ensuite and judging by the pics the desk should have enough room

haha, yeah. I guess you could always pack the TV/Console away when you are busy with work or need space to work on.

Yep exactly! Hmmmmm maybe, but I'm sure it'll all work out for the best! Noooo I mean most time it's a success, I've never set of a fire alarm! I'm not that bad, I promise  haha he's pretty cool :') ahah I'd rather just stick to following the recipes thanks  less chance of a disaster that way! Yeah exactly, be abit awkward! Sounds quite fun though so :') I wasn't sure if I was going to bring my formal dresses or not but I guess I will now :') tbh it's not really that expensive so if you get there and no ones going you could just not go :')

Alright, i'll trust you on this, but don't forget, almost 2/3 of fire alarms in county last year was caused by bad cooking! (I hated that orientation thing - i did it at like 3am  )
Haha, i try follow recipes as best as i can, but i always end up going off course - it's why i sucked so much at experiments in science :')
Yeah, and if you don't end up going, you can always just wear your formal wear to lectures  but yeah, i think i will get a ticket after all!
Well my mum was going to help me move into uni but now she will be on her phone trying to get one direction ticket for my little sister since their new shows are going on sale at the exact time as the time I have booked

I finished maybe mid june, so about 2 weeks less than you - It feels like it's been an eternity for me as well! I'm just glad i haven't resorted to watching jeremy kyle yet (But i can't say the same about countdown)

Yeah, the railcard is pretty much the only thing that tempted me from halifax, who didn't offer anything, and natwest. Best thing is you get to keep it even if you leave the bank during your course! The beautiful thing slashed return train tickets from £35 to like £20 for me

But what about those furry russian winter hats? I wear mine inside sometimes just because it feels nice :') Anyway, i doubt you'll lack cover between grizedale and your lecture theatres

Good on you for sticking it out! Too many people would just completely drop out the second they thought it wasn't for them - and this way you still learnt a whole load of interesting things that might make you even better at what you do when you graduate  But still, that seems really silly of them, surely the creative version should only cover the absolute bare essentials of maths and programming.

thank god you stayed away from Jeremy Kyle it all goes downhill from there :s I have picked up a habit of watching pointless when it's on tv so I can't comment on countdown

I'm with Lloyds thinking about changing to Santander if there is one on campus, Lloyds aren't too great.

Fury Russian winter hats  it's awful I know what you mean, I imagine they are warm but probably not for me :P I thinking something more stripy with bobbles :P

It was an interesting experience but strangely I think I needed that so I would work harder this year and do well.

Hahaha I was paying like zero attention through the whole reading bit then those questions popped up and I was like shiiiiit haha :') was so proud of myself for getting the answers right haha :') hahah I like following recipes  I was awesome at experiments  even though by the end of AS I hated chemistry and dropped it :') wel I'm sure that there'll be other times to wear formal wear and if not it doesn't really matter :') hopefully most people will think the same way and there'll be lots of people going! :')

There's worse then jezza kyle?! Pointless isn't even anything to be ashamed of! That show is just downright entertaining, especially with the banter between the two hosts :') I won't lie, i'm only into countdown for the maths parts... so mostly for rachel riley! :colondollar:

I used this link to decide what bank i'd get -http://www.lancaster.ac.uk/sbs/funding/banking.htm - thankfully santander is on campus!

Haha, more stripey with bobles.... Are you by any chance a regular in the 'Where's Wally' books? I think i know what you mean, they're probably more normal than my hats!

I know what you mean, i was ridiculously lazy in AS and got away with it, but A2 on the other hand...

Hahaha, It was like they knew nobody ever read through those things! It's like they were in my mind!! But yeah, i aced the fire ones, but had a few retries for the other one :') So what time did you choose to come in for at the end of your tests? I've just realised that i missed the chance to say that the only recipe i follow is the recipe for disaster  Totally not big headed again  So many people have told me how much they hated chemistry - what was wrong with it for you? Yeah, i imagine people will be keen - everybody likes the odd formal event to dress up and imagine you're james bond... or is that just me?

I know, pretty evil of them! After the first quiz I started reading, got everything right first timeee yeeeeeee  erm 13.00-14.00, since I'm only an hour and a half away it won't take long to get there, so I'm thinking have an early lunch at home then set off! Didn't want to get there too early because then if no one else arrived I'd just be sat by myself for hours, but then also didn't want to get there too late :') hahha that was a missed opportunity! Ah well, you said it now :') It was soososososososo dull, so I couldnt be bothered to do any work for it, and because it was dull i'd find myself tuning out for like half an hour, then realising i hadn't heard any of what the teacher said and that I was screwed :') saying that I still got an A, but y'know, it was dull ahah. Well I don't personally imagine I'm James Bond, don't think he wore dresses THAT often...

I was stubborn, i wanted to guess them the first few times, but then i gave in and skim read to get the answers - negative 5 days in, and they're already trying to teach us stuff :') Oh yeah, i get what you mean, i'd hate to turn out to be the only overly eager one there and just be me for a good few hours! I think i chose 11-12, so i still have the risk of it happening though D: But with my time keeping skills, i'll probably manage to turn up late... fashionably late  God, my friends were confuzzled when i told them i was dropping the As i was getting in sociology, i bet you'd just blow their minds with your chemistry story  haha, i know all about tuning out during lessons, i even remember going as far falling asleep once or thrice in sociology :') Hahaha, thanks for the mental image of daniel craig in a dress -_- Well, i don't know who the girl equivalent of james bond is... margaret thatcher, maybe?

Hahah silly, wasting more time than necessary  aah still can't get my head around people at other unis having had lectures etc already :') Yeah, though the benefits to that would be getting to choose your kitchen cupboard etc haha :') mainly though I wanted time in the morning to get ready at home :') also theres not really much planned for the first day so I didn't see the point in getting there super early :') haha its just silly to keep doing the subject you don't like though, even if you're good at it! haha in what world is Margaret Thatcher the female equivalent of james bond?!?!?!?!

Sorry to nudge in :3
I love swimming too, and have dabbled in waterpolo before. Apparently theres a free taster session on Sunday and trials too. I'd love to do either but don't think i'm up to competitive standards but hopefully theres an amateur team :P You're not alone haha

haha, oh dear i couldn't! you never know maybe you're better than you think (cue orders to take my own advice..) :') well we'll see, half of it is just the confidence to even try i guess :L

Yeah that sounds amazing, you'll have such a good experience living in a different country and for your language skills will go through the roof!

Come on now Hayley, get in the spirit! If you dont join any sport stuff you are coming climbing or swimming with me

Haha its fine just wear some stripy clothes and your sorted, if u have any problems ill just escort you in with my fine polo shirt on

that's what they tell me! it's just as well really i'll probably need the extra help haha. and :L i've never been really sporty minus a few netball and rounders games, although i used to be pretty good at badminton. i'm sure there'll be something... maybe. ah god fancy dress really is so annoying and literally all the events are. it'll be reyt :L

I'm so bored that i found it kinda fun actually... Except for the 'making me stay up 20mins later' part  i know, almost every one of my friends start by tomorrow! Ohhh, i hadn't actually thought of that - i get to claim my territory first  true, true, but i think my mam wants to have time to help unpack and have time to get back (plus i want to kick her out early:') ). It is, plus it seemed so silly - like general studies level of silly :L
In every world! She's just so suave and attractive... To conservative fan boys and posh kids - so surely you love her

Hahah I think you'd of been better off with the sleep :') hahahaha two more weeks until we have to work! I'm actually quite looking forward to it though, but I suppose you can't argue with more holiday! I'm not really bothered in terms of cupboards, more bothered about the fridge shelf but I'm not really that fussed to be honest with you :') how long is it going to take you to get there? I don't think my parents are planning on helping me unpack fully, just the essentials :') haha yeah :')
Well somebody is making assumptions! I am actually not a fan of the Tories :') I might have more money but most of the people I grew up with don't :') it's pretty much a labour stronghold round here tbh :')
