9000 pound budget... Audi vs Mercedes vs VW

Hi,
At the moment i have a 2006 318i m sport. I want to change the car as it's heavy to drive and a bit sluggish (previously had a mini cooper s).

I'm not sure what to go for next something a bit more newer but not to expensive to buy or run!

A little lighter and fun to drive though!


Audi A3 S-Line 1.4tfsi or 2.0tdi

Mercedes C180
Vw Golf Gt (mk vi)
