That Ajax team he had was crazy talented tbh, but fair play it was a great achievement.

At Bayern he actually managed to finish 3rd in his final season. It's pretty hard to do that. Won 2 titles and brought some young players through, as if Wenger wouldnt have done the same with Bayern. Apart from that, his last 16 years of club management have been inferior to Wenger in every way.

Here's a fact though: In 2 years time Van Gaal will be formatting his CV for a return to AZ Alkmaar while Wenger is still managing at the very top level.

Yup this.

Honestly LVG is a pretty overrated manager. I respect him for the Ajax achievement. But honestly it's no different to Mourinho's at porto.

Wenger would also have run things at Bayern. LVG will be sacked in 2 seasons time.

No? They are two completely different players. I think both will be tried as center forward at one point next season. Walcott's last game was up front and he played quite well, would have started up front a lot more if he didn't get injured.

And yeah Alexis is physical enough, probably built better than Aguero/Suarez...

No not bring him back as an answer to our problems upfront. He won't be expensive at all - and he'll definately up the training and the development on our current strikers. Walcott always seems to get a boost when Henry trains with us.

Bring him back & buy another striker, along with a CDM & a cover GK.

Also, I see the Debuchy deal as pretty much done (well I hope so) so I didn't include a RB

Why so many signings? Simply, because we can :wink:

Honestly I'd rather use Sanogo then Henry at this point. I get what you're saying don't get me wrong but he doesn't need to be signed as a player to do that. Hopefully in the future he gets some sort of role at Arsenal but off the pitch

His team mates at NY include Richard Eckersley (last club in England - Bury), Lloyd Sam (Notts County) and Bradley Wright-Phillips (Brentford). If that doesn't explain how poor the MLS is nothing will.
