Year 12 Maths A*

If you have an A* in Maths already, will Oxbridge still require A*AA in A-Level if that's their standard offer?
i thought for AS maths you couldnt get an A* . you could only be graded with an A even if you got 100/100/100 in C1, C2 and your choice module.
even if you're predicted an A* they'll still ask for it.
If you did maths early so that you finish it in year 12 then it won't form part of your offer, they require that A*AA to be attained at the end of year 13 in 3 A-levels that are being taken at the same time.

I got the A* in maths last year. My offer is A*A*A*A and STEP.

It depends on the course, I think. One of my friends applied for Philosophy last year at Cambridge having already achieved an A* in Maths and was given an offer of just AA as he already had the A*. But then another of my friends applied for Natural Sciences and was given an offer of A*A*A despite having already achieved an A* in Maths.
