Are A levels important after you graduate from university. If so, then wont BBC rule you out from competitive specialities like surgery.

No. They wouldn't care about your GCSE's, A-levels etc. Those qualifications were just a medium to get into Uni. They will look at your foundation year marks I guess. Also, you have to sit separate exams when you specialise.

Essentially bm6 could be seen as a medium to progress onto BM5 and not many med schools offer foundation years so it also may not be used, just a thought

Dont worry about showing off or anything. Just be yourself and never lie. You got this! You should be proud you got an interview- so they obv like you.

No they don't look at A levels or GCSEs once you've spent 5-7 years getting 3 degrees from university! You don't specialise until way down the line and it goes on portfolios of achievements like audits and published work.

They only use your grades from year 1 2 and 3 of BM5 to rank you for your F1 jobs. Then your uni performance is not really considered.
Hey neostigimine,

When is the earliest the first batch of people will hear back? Feeling so nervous trying to forgot about this but I just can't 🙈

Just be yourself and hope to see you there!
Historically it's been in the end of the 2nd week of March HOWEVER!!

1) that doesn't mean it will be the same this year
2) it may be earlier it may be later
3) not getting an earlier offer doesn't mean anything
4) you will hear eventually.
5) Assume it will be the end of April. That way you'll be pleasantly surprised when it is earlier

Today was the last selection day so if you weren't invited to this then i think its highly unlikely they will give out anymore interviews???
