Labour want to introduce proposals which give fans the opportunity to appoint two directors/board members of their choosing, which is promising.
The highlights package being bought bt channel 5 is great news for the FL. It will be on at 9pm instead of the BBC slot of after 11pm.
The new TV deal has to see money trickle down to lower league football.

Unfortunately foot protests alone aren't enough anymore. Owners are now too wealthy that they don't even need to rely on income from supporters. It's all a lot more internal now.
I'm going to hold off on writing a season review, hopefully until the 25th May.

More like 4,000- last time you had over 20,000 at home baring the return to the Ricoh was when we took over 6,000. Who would want to buy cov - I don't know not a lot of potential

I am talking since SISU's arrival and the fact remains that, partly thanks to the council, the club is not an attractive proposition to anyone with an ounce of sense.

Coventry City:
2014/15: 17th in League 1.
2015/16 target: Top half finish, 3rd round of the FA and League Cups, JPT semi final.
Forecast for next season:
Much depends on retaining the services of interim manager Tony Mowbray who oversaw a significant upturn in the club's form after taking over from the sacked Steven Pressley. His short time in charge has shown he is someone who is quick to identify the areas to improve the squad, is capable of motivating his players and encourages a forward thinking style. If the club cannot entice him to stay then whoever replaces him faces a tough ask, with only 9 contracted players still on the books once pre-season gets underway. The fitness of captain Reda Johnson is also a key issue, with results distinctly better with him in the side.
The key problem for the Sky Blues this season has been their inability to replace the goalscoring abilities of Leon Clarke and Callum Wilson, and the creative abilities of Carl Baker and Franck Moussa, combined with horrendous individual defensive mistakes. Despite this, the league is a poor one and the relegated Championship sides are riddled with problems of their own making the league an open one yet again. A competent manager properly backed by the club's owners should do well.
Where could it go wrong:
Quite honestly anywhere. The club faces the humiliating prospect of playing in a ground re-painted and re-branded for Wasps Rugby, has grossly unpopular owners and is coming off the back of a very disappointing season, which all point towards more low Ricoh crowds. Add that to a skeleton playing staff and whoever the manager is next season they have a lot of work to do. Home form was a huge liability this season and I expect it to worsen next year unless there is an upsurge in form. The club's trump card as always is the youth set-up, which will likely be called upon again.
Who to watch:
Several youngsters have come through this season and provided signs of promise. Left back Ryan Haynes and attacking midfielder James Maddison, who clinched the winner in the relegation decider at Crawley, have both shone in their debut seasons when few others in the club have impressed. Maddison in particular has been the subject of scouting missions from top flight clubs and if given attacking license next season could follow in the footsteps of former colleague Callum Wilson. Goalkeeper Lee Burge has had a baptism of fire this season but is also showing encouraging development (he has certainly been kept busy).
Positions of need
Without exaggerating, all over the place. An experienced keeper is needed to protect the confidence of young Burge, the brittle back line needs sound company for Reda Johnson, tough tackling central midfielders, pacy wingers, a competent striker...with just 9 permanent players left in July reinforcements are needed in almost every position. Loans are once again likely to be heavily relied upon.

A one club city with a huge supporter base right on their doorstep and a 32k stadium, yeh I don't see any potential there at all.

Sheffield Wednesday:
2014/15: 13th in Championship.
2015/16 target: Top ten finish, at least 3rd round of the FA and League Cups.
Forecast for next season:
We've been promised a season to remember and so far the omens look good. Sound investment in off the field problems is a fair example, such as the pitch which has been ripped up by JCBs. Whether or not this is followed up in the transfer department remains to be seen but after releasing 11 players it at least shows some intent. It'll be interesting to see whether Stuart Gray can turn this side's attacking woes around before he gets the chop from an impatient owner.
I believe we'll make little progress - probably around 12th place.
Where could it go wrong:
Our new Thai owner goes crazy... sacks the manager and makes Glenn Roeder the king of S6 whilst conducting all of his own dodgy transfer deals to bring us Thailand's finest footballers. That or Stuart Gray continues to play 4-5-1 at home utilising a striker under 6 foot.
Who to watch:
Hmmm... probably Stevie May and Sergiu Buș. May as this will be his make or break season in the Championship after this disappointing season. Bus because it'll be his first full season in the Championship and England, hopefully he'll live up to his nickname of the 'Romanian Rooney'. Caolan Lavery is also to watch, it's time he stood up and demonstrated his development on a grander scale by hopefully banging 20 goals in.
Positions of need
A backup CB to compete with Loovens and Lees. Some actual wingers seeing as we don't have any at the club!! A potential LB to kick Helan out of his place in the starting 11. I would like to see a striker but we've got around 5 on the books currently, so hopefully one of them steps up to the plate.
