Don't hope for low competition. Because even then it might not work out. Instead, hope to beat the competition. That was you can't lose.

You might be thinking of the 5 year medicine course at Southampton as it didn't used to have an interview, but it has since the 2013/2014 application cycle.

BM6 has always been interviewed.

On the UKCAT website, after selecting which course I want to do, it didn't show that it needs to be interviewed.

It just doesn't specify it
It's because applying to Southampton medical course - the 5 year one, apparently they don't give interviews.

They didn't used to for the 5 year course. They do now and have done for a while.

Then the UCAS website is wrong. Unless my interview was a lie and all the interview dates I have worked at the university were also lies :O :colondollar:

UKCAT isn't used for BM6 unless they have 2 people they can't choose between. You have to take it though.
