Would a PT diploma help with with a physiotherapy degree?

If I get onto physiotherapy would completing a personal training diploma help me with the course (to advise on exercises etc) and with gaining employment at the end of the degree? Or would it be a waste of money are most of the personal training principles (like exercise prescription) covered in the degree?

Thanks

I haven't came across any university that consider a PT Diploma.
Although, Sheffield Hallam includes this with their modules.
