physiotherapy

was just wondering if i could work in the NHS as a physiotherapist as a postgraduate with a BSc degree in sports rebhab or sport science. If not, would i be able to pursue an MSc in physiotherapy with those degrees? I am currently looking at applying for physiotherapy but i am limited to most unis as they do not accept my BTEC course (BTEC National Extended Diploma in sport). So I thought one or two of my options could be sports rehab for example.

Physiotherapy is a regulated profession, so you would need an appropriate degree for it. See:

If you want to know what you can do with your sports science degree, see:

Good news is that you can do an approved MSc in physiotherapy to get into the field:
https://www.csp.org.uk/careers-jobs/career-physiotherapy/physiotherapy-degrees

Examples of such degrees include (I was going through the top 3 that I could find, not that most of the courses are in the Midlands):
https://www.bcu.ac.uk/courses/physiotherapy-msc-2023-24#entry_requirements
https://www.birmingham.ac.uk/postgraduate/courses/taught/sport-exercise/physio-pre-reg.aspx#EntryRequirementsTab
https://www.coventry.ac.uk/course-structure/pg/hls/physiotherapy-and-leadership-msc/

You do get some accredited degrees that accept BTECs, e.g.:
https://www.birmingham.ac.uk/undergraduate/courses/sportex/physiotherapy.aspx#EntryRequirementsTab - needs A Level Biology or PE on top
https://www.coventry.ac.uk/course-structure/ug/hls-nhs/physiotherapy-bsc-hons/ - Needs A Level Biology on top

I am not going through all the approved courses; do your own homework. However, the above should be enough to convince you that you can either do an undergrad with a BTEC in sports, or you can do a sports science degree + MSc.
You can go into sports therapy with a sports science degree should you wish.
