So why were they included in the final and perfect guide for all humanity if they are simply tactical instructions for a specific military action in 7th century Arabia?

Allah, in his infallable omniscience, would have known that they would be used throughout history as justification for violent jihad. Therefore, that was their purpose. QED.

That there is a plausible interpretation like this is the problem, what Allah or Mo actually meant or thought is a distant secondary discussion. The fix in either case is the same, change the scripture.

That there is such a mainstream misunderstanding, according to all Muslims, regarding the meaning of the text would surely suggest it isn't fit for purpose.

In the eyes of an actual Muslim whom believes the scripture calls for peace and tolerance, I would think, this person would be utterly heartbroken and distraught that so many believers in Islam are going to hell because of misinterpretations. Again easily fixed by changing the scripture.

Strangely silent, more vocal on the point of trying to convince everyone else currently being threatened with murder/rape/slavery that it's all just a big misunderstanding.

I would consider these people, the so called moderates, to be worse than the Jihadists with their insidious calls for us to lower our guard. Nominal theists and ignorant at best, either of which is not the same as being innocent of trying to march anyone who will listen into subjugation and/or death. Accessories to mass murder and genocide and slavery of the worst kind, even the Ahmadiyya denomination are culpable in my eyes.

The only armies that are *really* fighting ISIS :
-Russian Armed Forces
-Syrian Arab Armed Forces
-Iraqi Armed Forces

Unfortunately the US,UK,Saudi Arabia ,Turkey and others have been supplying the terrorists either directly or not.

One reason could be for historical documentation. To show that in response to an event, God ordered his Prophet to act in a certain manner.

That's why Allah sent down apostles and their rightful successors so that these verses wouldn't be interpreted in such manner, but apparently you haven't grasped that simple yet fundamental concept. If certain people reject the views of the representatives of God and their rightful and pure successors, then that's their mistake.

Either it is simply historical documentation - in which case it has no place in the timeless and universal guide for all humanity, or it is a part of the guide - in which case the response in the recorded event is to be repeated in any such future event.
It can only be one or the other.

Yet when I ask you what these verses actually mean (according to your Shia methods of interpretation), you claim that you don't know. And again, this raises the question of the Quran's "perfection". If such verses can be interpreted in contradictory ways, it is clearly flawed. A "perfect" text (in the context of a guide to life) would have the same clear meaning to everyone, regardless of background, culture, education, etc.
Unless it is intended to mean different things to different people. Which raises a whole new can of beans. And makes your argument utterly redundant.

The Kurds are fighting them both in Iraq and Syria. Unless you included them under the armed forces of those countries, that's a pretty flagrant oversight. And you also accused the United States, the UK, Saudi Arabia and Turkey of supplying the IS, which is frankly horseshit, at least with respect to the former two.
