Ohh thank you. This is helpful.

Liverpool is so Cheap. Am I reading that correctly, £500 for the tuition and exam fees? Ive paid £400 for exams alone!

Most other places I've seen are about £750 per as-level
I am pretty sure Croydon college used to offer A levels, what happened now?
I like this thread.

That does seem pretty good value. It's a shame there aren't more places like it around the country. Please do add your local colleges - even if they only offer Biology: it might be just what someone is looking for.

Looks like maths is the only one on offer. It does seem a bit strange.

is there a college that offer 1 year intensive physics
Hi there.

I've been working through this fairly extensive list:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_further_education_colleges_in_England

I've found it much easier than searching through manually. The majority of colleges on this list don't have an upper age limit. The only downside is that they're organised by name rather than region.

is there a college that offer 1 year intensive physics

I've been looking for this myself. Let me know if you find one!

I'm 17, I was looking into Hackney Community College, I am looking to study Biology, Chemistry, Maths or Physics for A-level. I checked the website for specific entry requirements but all its says is "Specific Entry Requirements: 5 GCSEs at grades A*- C including English and maths and (where relevant), the subject you wish to study" Does this mean I can study them for A-level. btw I have 9 A*-C grades.

It sounds like it. If you have the required GCSEs, there shouldn't be a problem, and as you are under 19, it shouldn't cost you anything as far as I know. Why not drop them an email, or phone them up?

Great, hopefully I get in. I really want to study those A-levels.

Hi,

Do you know of a college in Manchester which offers A levels?
Thanx

You could try Impact College: http://impactcollegeuk.com/
Their website isn't very informative tbh, but it seems to be a college for adults, and offers A levels, though whether it's just as an exam centre I'm not quite sure. Let us know if you find out.

QMC Basingstoke is closest to me, but I'm interested in A Level maths and they have loads of different courses. How do I know which is most suitable for me?

I've put off my dreams in Physics for too long. I was good at maths and science and school, my ability was not what held me back, so I want to get there now I'm an adult with my head together. Question is though, *which* Maths A Level would be best?
