Psychology A level with a C grade

I'm planning on studying psychology A level
This following academic year but have just achieved a C grade in my English language GCSE.

Will this affect my A level grade?
And should I drop the subject for something else?
Please help

I've just finished psychology AS and my sixth form asked for a B in both maths and psychology - so I don't think it'll affect you except for essay writing

What did you get in your English GCSE

A B in English language and a C in English literature - I do both language and literature now though. For my AS results I got a B in psychology so wasn't too bad
