He's probably Pathan since he works in Peshawar Chowk.
His eyes are piercing blue, that looks really nice with his darker hair.

Afghanis have nice eyes

He might be tanned in terms of European standards but he's lighter toned in terms of South Asian, he's what we call 'gora'.

It depends on the South Asian. Some South Asian ethnic groups such as the Pathans, which some people have said he is a part of are quite light skinned, whilst others are not. But as someone looking at this objectively I can see why he is found to be good looking. Ofcourse, as you mentioned this means adhering to European standards of beauty which he is a prime example of.

I know there's 100 different shades of skin tone in South Asia, I was talking about all South Asians as a collective. He's quite fair skinned compared to the majority.
