Is it only me or does life suck?.

Imagine : everyone is rich, everyone is beautiful, you don't have to study or work, only go to the beach, everyday is sunny, there is no religion, no diseases, no accidents, no natural disasters, no crime, you stay young forever, you never get sick.
Imagine if life was like that.
But no, life sucks.
It would get boring.

You cannot have happiness without sadness.

You would only be content at best.

LIFE IS AWESOME WHEN FOOD IS INVOLVED
Life may feel boring or uneventful or stressful or 'depressing' in a true sense of the word. There are some fleeting moments of happiness that you can try to find but otherwise life seems to be a series of normal events. :dontknow: if only life were as you described.

Without struggles, you would get bored pretty fast. If you're going through any hardships always remember, it's akin to a bow and arrow, you may be pulled back first, but will be propelled forward once you overcome them.

If you were a masochist you could probably experience pain and suffering in virtual reality so nobody else is dragged down for selfish motives.
Seems like the definition of paradise (of course there would be no boredom there though)

If you wanted to infringe on the rights of others I'm sure they could arrange to make you experience pain in real life.

Imagine we never felt bad, and we were always happy.

Sounds like teletubbies. lol

But in all seriousness,

I see what you mean. It's easy to say that you would 'always be happy' in this imaginary world that you've come up with, but what does that mean? Would there be mystery or surprises? Or would everything be the same all the time? I mean everyday is a happy day and nothing would ever change? Or do you mean every person would have their own personal type of happiness? > If so, what about when two people in this world want to interact with one another? What would happen to their individual 'happinesses'?

Yes, but you could do whatever the hell you wanted.

Anyway, one day we might have this world - technology will be so advanced robots will do all the menial work necessary (because all the nice things rich people can do, are built on manual labor), and the knowledge to cure disease, etc.

Yes you're right, although very unlikely we may have a near 'utopian' world as has been aforementioned. However, we have to consider that no matter what technological advancements occur there will never be a way to get rid of mental or spiritual issues, and even in such a world these will arise. Reaching a material peak is not the end all be all.

If we were to play a game of soccer or basketball or whatever and the players all stood back and let you score goals/points over and over again without intervening - would that make the game more fun to you or more boring?
