How long in length should the introduction chapter be?
Hi Tskemps,
What course are you studying? I imagine it would differ depending on what programme you're on. When I studied on a Media course at Edge Hill, my entire dissertation had to be around 10,000 words (although I ended up at almost 11,000). My introduction was only 676 words, which gave me a bigger word count towards the rest of my dissertation.
If you're unsure, consult your dissertation tutor about word counts. Mine gave me some helpful tips on roughly how long each section could be, and it made me a lot less stressed!
