Can we not just memorise two poems from the anthology book- then relate them to whatever poem comes up?? coz they are all somehow linked...

its the aqa power and conflict poems...e.g Bayonet Charge and Exposure

While possible, it probably wouldn't be wise especially as while they're still linked not all the poems contain enough about the specific themes they could ask you about. For example if you learnt Checking Out Me History then (iirc!) there's almost nothing about power of nature so if your other poem came up then it would be really difficult.
I'd advice learning 4-6 for best coverage of the themes.
