It doesn't bother me, mate. As satisfying as it feels when someone reps me, I'm not here to try and get 50,000 reps or become famous on a student forum. The no. of rep gems I have on here is irrelevant to my life.
By this comment, I didn't mean to suggest that users with less than 10 gems were obscure. I meant that those who have been here the longest and acclaimed all these reps are pretty much known by everyone, making them 'famous' in my opinion. I'd say once a user starts to hit 5/6 gems, they're starting to become recognisable.
