I am really light headed and it has been like this for a while. When I am light headed I get double vision and I cannot concentrate. The doctor said I cannot drive until my light headedness and dizzy spells stop. My frequent dizzy spells are making it very hard for me to concentrate and revise. My a levels are a month away and I am not revising as much as I should be/ would usually do.

Is there anything I can do????? Thank you!!!
did your doctor not suggest a potential cause of your dizziness?
Damn, that sucks. Try and make yourself comfortable and do as much work as you can. Also, perhaps you could minimize the factors that cause these symptoms(I understand if this won't work) If none of this works, maybe it might be so serious that you should contact your school and talk about mitigating circumstances?

Maybe talk to your tutor about it. They may be able to speak to your exam officer about exceptional circumstances. Idk if they'll allow it but it's worth a try

Special consideration is for illness at the time of the exam - I'm afraid feeling light-headed at this point would not qualify,
If you are unable to revise by reading because of double vision maybe you should try to revise by listening to some videos on youtube etc. Did your GP told you anything about your symptoms and what may cause them? I think that TSR can't give you any diagnose and help so if your GP didn't gave you any advice or diagnose maybe you should see another doctor? You should also speak to your college because they may be able to speak to your exam officer about exceptional circumstances and any additional support during exam.
P.S. Are you sure that your symptoms aren't caused by stress? I had a friend with very similar symproms - She was just very stressed.

Did your doctor suggest a possible cause or are they at least conducting tests?
You need to get evidence from your doctor to show the school for that. She should ask the GP about getting a 'doctors note'
Getting a doctor's note at this point really won't help. Schools have been asked not to ask doctors for notes about health conditions for special consideration applications. However, the OP should keep copies of any appointments for tests or with specialists.
I have had many tests and they have all come back normal -but I do have low blood pressure so it could be that
that could be an explanation for it, ask your doctor about whether you could have something to increase your blood pressure. Drink plenty of water in the meantime.
the doctor said he wouldn't recommend medication due to the side affects. I have been drinking loads and eating loads of salty foods. but nothings changing.

is that a cardiologist or your gp? I'd really hammer home that you can't keep living like this and get a second opinion.

Dizziness could result from a number of things (from inner ear issues to heart issues etc.) so it really needs to be acted on.
You can't be backwards about going forwards; you need to stress to your GP how much it's affecting your daily life and insist on further investigations.
