Hey all, I got a B in Chemistry and I'm retaking it to get an A. When calculating my score how would they score my Chemistry? If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it as the scoring is confusing for retake applicants. And yes they do accept retakes, it's not crystal clear on their website but I called up to check and they said you can retake in the following year

they would probably use the b as there is no guarantee you will get an a
why are you resitting as your a levels seem fine if you don't mind me asking

Okay that's what I was thinking as well, thank you.

I thought I may as well try for normal medicine at Bristol (other choices are all foundation) as they have a contextual requirement of ABB which I qualify for, if I retake chemistry and get an A. Thought I may as well apply for normal med there as foundation is in theory more competitive as there is much less spaces.

I called them about it, you recieve it about mid November. They were waiting on the UCAT Results to be sent but since they were sent today, expect to hear from them soon.
