Explain two contrasting ways in which pilgrimage is experienced in Lourdes.

i just did an assessment with this question and got full marks for it

what i put was Lourdes is a place where a young girl called Bernadette first experienced her vision. people may go to Lourdes to pray in the Sanctuary of the Lady and then worship at the grotto where she experienced her first vision to feel closer to her.

Many people who go to Lourdes are disabled or ill so go to cleanse themselves of sin. They also got to the grotto to bathe in the water which is said to have healing powers.

Hope this helps.

Is this for the GCSE in RE?

By the way, I don't think that the original question set was this, as it reads a bit oddly. I would check to see what the question set actually was.
