I'm not really sure, but a few users here said I sound like Hermione. However, when I get really angry, then I start speaking (shouting more like) with a Dutch accent.

When talking fast/trying to pronounce new words its american also with words like "scone" "schedule" "tomato" even "water" but like nice American not the annoying kind 😂. Idk somehow everyone tells me I sound American. Then Mixed with normal british somehow 😂. But then to those whose first language isn't British English they cant tell the difference.
So are you American living in Britain or vice versa?

"RP is probably the most widely studied and most frequently described variety of spoken English in the world, yet recent estimates suggest only 2% of the UK population speak it. It has a negligible presence in Scotland and Northern Ireland and is arguably losing its prestige status in Wales. It should properly, therefore, be described as an English, rather than a British accent."
Wow I didn't know that and I study English Language!

I'm from Birmingham, so I'm guessing it's a brummie accent. But I've been asked numerous amount of times from people (brummie locals) where I'm from etc- I apparently sound different from them haha

Whenever I start talking to new people, they are like "omg are you from here" lol it's quite strange. I just think it's because my voice is quite raspy- so it sounds a lot different idk

this year of uni a lot of people have assumed that I have a northern accent
at the barders yesterday, the lady thought I had a new zealand accent
I'm from the south but I tend to "slur" my words in order to not sound posh
therefore, it creates a northern/aussie twang
