Help Please

Evening all,

I am thinking about applying to start uni in September this year, however I will be 21.

Do I still apply through UCAS or direct to the uni's themselves?

Also, I am studying part time for a HNC, will this enable me to start in year 2 or would I still need to start in year 1?

All responses appreciated!!

Cheers,

Josh

Through UCAS.

You'd have to check with the unis concerned to be completely sure but you'll probably need to start in year 1. From my limited knowledge an HNC is equivalent to a foundation degree so you wouldn't skip a year.

ah man that's annoying.

Would I be classed as a mature student then?

And, could I still live in halls etc?

Cheers for your help btw

If you're 21 or over when you start the course, yes, you're a mature student.

I assume you can still live in halls, I don't know of anywhere it's different for mature students.
