MSC computer science @edinburgh Uni. , part time job opportunities

Hi ,

I am an international student , got admission in 2012 msc computer science @ university of Edinburgh.Can any one of the already studying student or experienced one , please guide me ,Is there any opportunities available for working as part time . I know ,masters will be bit hectic , so can one have time to work and what all the available scope for part time job.

I am worried much as i am planning to earn my living expenses while studying rather than burdening my parents .

In my strictest opinion, it's better for you to focus on getting good grades rather than trying to balance studying and work. The MSc, if I'm not mistaken, is 1 year so it will be hectic. My previous PG institution advice us not to get a job whilst studying; they even put on the presentation slides during the introductory week; "If you want to fail the MSc, work" :/

*And since you're an international student, I think it's better to perform since you're paying truck loads of money!
