Dating sites?

Not every guy using dating sites or things like tinder are just after sex you know.

Obviously not, but the ease with which you can find somebody who isn't is way reduced.

This is correct. My friend uses it and he always goes for ONS, although a small minority of people use it for genuine relationships.

I personally don't use Tinder, it's just what I've heard from my friends that have used it.

Met my boyfriend on OKCupid when I was 17 (lied about my age) and out of all the sites, in my experience, this has been the best. There's some decent people on Tinder but they are few and far between. Sites like snog.com are cancer.

Yeah, Wednesday night is student night here (cheap drinks!) and Friday and Saturday night are, well, Friday and Saturday night! There tends to be bits a pieces on on a Thursday like pub quizzes and karaoke nights and stuff (which are good to laugh at) but Wednesdays tend to be heavy so I prefer to give Thursdays a miss.

It's only because I have a friend here from France on an internship so we're making the most of what we can before she goes home, once she's gone it'll be time for a good detox and back down to one or two nights out a week! Haha

OP just doesn't realise her options, she has way to many. Her definition of going out is different to others. Some consider going as clubbing, but others consider any form of socialising as going out.

I associate the term "going out" with alcohol - bars, pubs, clubs whatever. Not really sure how else people our age meet new people other than that haha. Obviously there's college/uni or whatever but once you're settled into your classes you don't really meet many new people (from my experience anyway)
