get a smart you dont have to worry about parking

ot get a 7 series if you can handle it you'll feel like a boss but at the same time if the toys start to go wrong it will be hefty
I only voted for the 3 series purely based on aesthetics.....

330D- The one I'd have as its the lightest and has the best suspension setup (i.e. it handles well). Plus it can be remapped

530D- Same engine but its a heavier car! Has a suspension setup for the American Market so it handles like a yacht (M4LLY's dad has a repped 535d, fast but piss poor suspension!)

730D- A bigger version of the 530D aimed at Drug Dealers
Those cars seem to be on sale at around the mileage where the timing belt needs to be changed around 60k miles, and timing belt is nothing cheap at all by any means. I've heard that timing belt changes can cost nearly £1000 when it comes to change and since you're going to be getting a value motor don't expect it to be much lower than that!

I could be wrong but I'm just saying what I've heard

Passat.

Yes. I think he's back.
Actually, I would recommend the 530
It is a balance; its still sporty like a 3 series but more luxurious than the 3 series
Its big but not too long
Won't have high fuel consumption, insurance and service costs like a 730
Based on your price range I would go for the 3 series. 5 series would definitely be a option but the 730d shape just seems ancient now, my uncle had one back in like 2001-2002 so it just seems old.

Vauxhall Omega 3.2l for 1% of the budget and 50% of the car

or

Volvo S80 T6 for 10% of the budget and 80% of the car

or possibly both at the same time?
Vauxhall don't offer luxury though

Well a 7 year old Phantom still cost upwards of £111k rather than 11k and it will still be a luxury due to how much it cost but a 7 year old BMW to me isn't a luxury especially if it is only £11k to get the keys to it.
A 7 Series? Get a 6 Series or go for an Audi Q7 or any Mercedes... BMW are getting worse and worse each year.
Audis depreciate much slower than bmws so a q7 wont be 11k
