English at Kings College

I'm thinking of applying to Kings for English or English with Film Studies but although the uni is ranked very highly, it hasn't got a great reputation for English.. could someone who's taking the course tell me what its like or if its any good? Thanks!

It actually does have a good reputation for English, if you're thinking it doesn't because of its recent ranking on the Guardian table then I'm not sure what's going on there but I think we can kind of discount it's credibility considering it was placed 6th for English last year on the Guardian table, realistically I don't see how it's possible for a university to drop down from 6th to 50th in a certain department in one year?

I haven't started yet so can't tell you what it's like but I will hopefully be starting English with Film Studies in September :smile:
