Yep, just seen. Hopefully I'll be repping 80kg in a couple of months.

What's your weight? And I don't think I'll get 80 by this year :frown:

Have been hovering around 77kg since i started. Wanted to gradually increase weight for strength but I'll see how it goes.
Hopefully, the 80kg comes around end of January. I'd be happy with that. Good luck.

Went to Gym today, extremely tired even though I was motivated to hit some good numbers (in my case). Squat completely drained me and i still never hit the target of 5x5 90 kg. In the end i decided to go home earlier but thought I'd max out on bench. Singles.

Bench: 70 kg
CGBP: 70 kg, 75 kg

Happy with these, but not so with the rest of the workout.
12/11/2014: Workout B

Squat: 90 kg - 5x5 (PB)
Deadlift: 60 kg - 1x5
100kg - 1x3
120 kg - 1x1
140 kg - 1x1
150 kg - 1x1 (PB)
140 kg - 1x3 (PB)
CGBP: 60 kg - 1x3
75 kg - 1x1
80 kg - 1x1 (PB)
65 kg - 2x5
Standing Press: 40 kg - 3x5

Plus Arms.

Very good workout IMO. Didn't get all the exercises I wanted + reps/sets due to time. Hit a few PR's which I am very happy about.
Question:

When would be a good time to switch over to a more intermediate program? Numbers or experience wise would be better to change? If so what? Thanks. I'm not concerned with the current program and I still feel i have a while to go but at some stage my numbers will stall for weeks so just going to think about it abit now.

Any one recommend any good programs I can switch to afterwards? Partially for hypertrophy/strength routine. Thanks.

In a word...

No

Your numbers are still noob and you haven't been training that long. Keep riding the noob gain train

It's your diet or recovery that's hampering your gainz, not the programme

Yep, I mentioned I'm not switching over for a while as I'm still making progress. But just curious to see which program I could switch to after, if that's after another month or year on current.

Thanks mate, never would've thought 3 months ago, that I'd be where I am now .
Been very ill with an infected throat for just under a week. On medication atm, and waiting for the illness to die down as well. Haven't been gym but I'm certain I lost a couple of kg + strength. :frown:
Okay guys, been a long time since I've updated this. My illness has thankfully gone after finishing the medication.
Gym related, I had found out my gym had actually closed down. They refunded everyone their money but didn't give a reason as to why. I went their recently and the owner explained that they are making it a private member gym only. Joined another gym recently but it's a lot busier and with a lot of useless equipment (IMO).

Will carry on blogging from tomorrow, tried squatting on Monday and got DOMS in my legs, plus, my numbers have decreased by a good amount. Hopefully I'll be back to my best numbers in couple sessions. Wish me luck!
