A-Level Philosophy: How many sections should I study

I am currently studying (100% self-study) both the AS and the A2 for AQA Philosophy and I am going to do the exams in Summer 2015. Just finished going through the first unit, and started the second on Monday.

I understand that there are 5 possible sections in each unit on which you will be tested on 2 from Units 1-3 and 1 from Unit 4. I have studied 3 from the first unit, and will probably do 3 from the second, but is it really necessary to do three from the third? Those sections are a deal bigger in the third unit, and I am wondering how much this might affect my study of the fourth unit.

I'm just looking to here the experiences of some other people who may have studied less than 3 of the sections in a unit to get a better idea of how I should proceed.

Thanks.
