What type of learner am I?

I want to know as it will help me find effective techniques of studying.

I cannot listen to the teacher for a long time, I blank out and can't concentrate.
I cannot revise by reading a text book, the information just flies out of my head and I forget it.
I cannot memorize notes very well either and I am not good at writing them.

I can learn by watching videos more than reading textbooks. I lose concentration when reading or listening to a teacher.

That's a clever id :-)

It's great you are thinking about what type of learner you are. By understanding that better you can explore what techniques to develop or learn to make use of your skills and to enhance what you are less good at.

Here's a short guide to Making the most of your learning style. It includes an activity to help you discover what type of learner you are.

And on this page of booklets about learning, you may find Develop Effective Study Strategies and Reading and Taking Notes useful.

I wish we were all taught more about learning styles, study techniques and note-taking techniques when at school.
