Ate out of date sausages

Well, hunger took over me I guess...

I found a pack of sausages in the fridge and cooked them normally. They tasted fine and I didn't think any different.

I then looked at the packet and found the use by date to be the 27th. I smelled the pack and it smelt like alcohol. Definitely not a "sausagey" smell.

Now what? How do I find out if I am I'll or not. Is there a time period?

Probably next time I should read the label.

Just some background information, the sausages were stored in the fridge. Not the freezer.

You'll most probably be ok, as they were only a few days over.

If you haven't begun feeling ill after a few days, then you can definitely forget about it.
