I'm taking my AS levels this year. I'm not saying i'm particularly good at anything, just offering advice on how to do well in exams if anyone wants it. Don't mean to sound arrogant, i'm just trying to help anyone who wants it.

thought i was going to do really badly in RE because i was getting Cs and Ds in all my mocks. worked through that one by writing craptons of practice essays for every question topic i could think of.
I'm aiming for 9 A*s. Any advice is appreciated. :tongue:

Do you think these 5 universities are a good set of choices on your UCAS;
1) London Metropolitan University
2) London South Bank University
3) University of East London
4) University of West London
5) University of Westminster
Which one would you prefer to go to?

get to the point at the beginning of each paragraph. Clearly state in one sentence what your point is and check to make sure it relates to the question that's been set. Then grab some evidence and explain it. It's a good explanation and analysis that will get you the good marks but you can't get that far unless you've made a relevant point to start with.
good luck :smile:

1) don't lie to yourself about how much work you've done because it's not going to help. Admit it when you need help and ask for it.

2) Practice exam technique. Lots of past papers can also help you make guesses about what might come up in an exam

3) don't accept that you're "no good" at a subject, work at it instead.
