A day in the life of a university student

I'll join in, I'm a distance student so my day is pretty different to the standard student I suppose!

05:00 - alarm goes off.
05:15 - alarm goes off again.
05:30 - finally drag my sorry ass out of bed, make a coffee and get my stuff together, shower, breakfast and all that fun stuff that goes down of a morning
06:30 - set off for work
06:35 - turn around and go back to the flat, forgot my dinner.
07:00 - get to work, sort out emails, deal with the plan of the day, figure out if I have time for another coffee before a meeting
08:00 - find time for that coffee before the meeting
10:00 - get five minutes free between jobs; quick check on the online study forums or a flick through the textbook or notes
12:00 - third coffee of the day coupled with a butty
15:00 - work usually tails off around this time, so I get a solid hour of reading/note making/writing up/researching
17:00 - HOME JIM
18:00 - TEA TIME JIM
19:00 - pick that bloody text book up again, make a few more notes, check Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, snapchat - everything else I can think of to avoid looking at that blasted textbook.
21:15 - contemplate emailing tutor to explain my mental breakdown and capacity for losing my sh*t due to not enough hours existing in the day.

I was wondering the same.

When I was an undergrad most of my classess didn't start till' 11am and then I didn't have another till after lunch and that was pretty much it for the day. Then again, I only had 9 contact hours per week!
My typical day is:
5:50-7:00 wake up & get ready
7:00-8:30 bus journey to uni
9:00-17:00 lectures (have a few breaks here and there though)
17:30-19:00 bus journey home
19:00-20:30 have tea, bath, sort bag out for next day
20:30-10:00 netflix then sleep

Wednesdays are my favourite day because I finish at 12:00 on a Wednesday.
This is my second year Tuesday if your commuting really consider if you could face it
7:00 wake up and walk over to desk to turn off alarm and get shower
7:10 Finish shower and other bath room bits and get dressed and a bit of break fast.
8:00 finish breakfast watch a bit of TV
8:30 go to uni
9:00 networking lecture
10:00 robotics (fun)
11:00-18:00 Break study have lunch do some work still have 5 hours to kill sleep wake up just do anything or go shopping.
18:00 tutorial
19:00 Go back to digs with some supper

I commute and have a young child, so my days are a bit hectic:
5:30am - alarm, usually lay in bed checking emails/facebook
6 - 7am - I shower, make breakfast for myself and little one, get her ready for school, make the lunches for the day
7am - either drop daughter at Breakfast Club or hand her over to my parents until school time. I leave for uni at this point. This is a one hour drive, but in rush hour traffic can take around two hours.
9am - 1pm - lectures/seminars
1 - 2pm - lunch + work in the library
2pm - leave uni to get home in time for school pick up
3 - 5pm - playtime/chill time with daughter. We usually choose this time to work through her homework too (she's only 4, so it's just practising writing and reading, etc)
5pm - cook dinner
6pm - dinner on table, eat with family
6:30 - bath time for little one
7:30 - story time, milk in bed and cuddles before saying goodnight
8:30 - exhaustion - work, tidy up, washing up, etc.

I'll usually go to bed between 10 and 11, due to early waking hours.
