Are they really planning to make changes in BTEC Extended diploma Health and Social?

Hey, I'm going to do the BTEC extended for Health and Social after I have finished my GCSE's. Rumour has it that they are going to make changes to this course such as, only allowing to submit your coursework once and perhaps start to include exams. Is this true or are people just trying to make me panic? :frown:

Some of the changes you have mentioned are already in place.
Since Sep 2014 Level 3 students are allowed one submission, followed by one resubmission (if the original deadline was met). In the case of Pass tasks, if you fail the resubmission you might be allowed one opportunity to retake the critieria you have failed. There are no retake opportunities for Merit and Distinction.

There have been rumours about including examined units, but until new specifications are developed that remains a mystery.
