Changing course variation after first year
Hello.
I am studying a 4 Year BSc Computer Science degree (one year is a placement year). Having just received my grades for the first year, the course administrator at my university has given me the go-ahead to try switching to a 4 Year MSc Computer Science degree, without the placement year.
Will switching to this degree affect my student finance entitlement in any way? I should mention that I previously dropped out of another degree during the first year so I have had my "extra year" of student finance already.
I'm hoping that because the MSc and BSc are related courses at the same University, both are 4 year courses, and regardless of which course I do I will be going into the second year, my student finance will not be affected.
Any information would be extremely helpful.
