Credit transfer for an Open Degree...

So I want to study maths and I am strongly considering studying with the University of London through their international program which allows you to study whatever individual modules you like, that they offer(under academic direction from LSE). It just seems to be a more realistic way of doing things for me than the OU, since I do not have so much money. My plan is to study 2 years worth of modules with the UoL and then apply for an open degree with the OU, transfer the 2 years worth of study, and do a third year with the OU.

From what I understand, you are able to transfer 240 credits for the Open degree, and that you must do 120 credits at level 3, so I could do 2 years worth with UoL, and then 1 years worth of level 3 with the OU to get an Open Degree.
Just wondering, is there anyone out there who has transferred 240 worth of credits for an Open Degree or transferred UoL credits worth for the OU or, ideally, both? Any help appreciated!
