Really screwed my A levels. Few questions.

I wanted to apply for economics but my grades are really bad I.e I have Es and Ds.
Can I still apply with reasons and then make up with retakes and doing well in A2s next year?
Does Cambridge look Down on people resisting a while AS year?

Side question: What's the lowest grades someone has gotten into Cambridge economics for?

No.

You'd have to retake the year and do well i.e. [at least 3/4 A grades]
Retaking will make you less competitive unless you have a reason for it which can be explained.

After all it's 1/3 most competitive economics courses alongside oxford and lse. Everyone else applying will have done exceptionally.
