Learning French

After studying German for A-Level, I was considering going back to the French that I once studied in year 9 but I have no idea where to start. Are there any good websites/resources that I could use to get back into it? I'm presuming many of the language learning skills are transferable between the two languages, hopefully.

Thanks,
John.
The mobile app Duolingo is great for all levels (and lots of languages too), I use it often to top up my A Level French. I think it is free to download, it was for me anyhow. It is in quiz form, so gets you thinking actively about how to use the language rather than passively telling you, and there are discussions about each answer so you can ask the Duolingo community if you can't work out why you got something incorrect. I really can't recommend it enough
I second the above post. Duolingo is really good. Me, my brother, and my best friend all use it and find it really useful.
