As far as I can tell she is pretty much a classical liberal.

Although quite a lot fo left wing philosophy has its routes in that... The real Adam Smith contradicts a lot of what the modern neoliberal and neoconservative right say/do even though he is their poster boy.

I don't like the word "neoliberal", which, as you said, has nothing to do with Liberalism. Neocon or Reaganomics are more accurate.

Reagan or Bush still intervened in the economy when it suited them - especially in the oil and military industries, and they weren't socially liberal at all.

Wow, I'm greener than the Greens!!!

how interesing :smile: this is me. Ideologically this is. I'm a member of the Labour party but seemingly more Green than Green lol. Would be interesting to see where Corbyn comes on this :tongue:
