What's the accommodation like?

Hey guys,
I'm from Germany and thinking about starting a postgraduate degree at Surrey next year.
I've already been looking through the university website to find out as much as possible, but it's always nice to hear from people who've actually lived there.

I know there are different courts, but are they all the same or are others better? And do you think it's worth spending the extra money for an en-suite room?

Last but not least: Would you recommend staying on campus or search for my own place off campus?

Thanks in advance

I went to an open day and the accommodation looked kind of ugly, but i'm really picky :/

on campus is usually so much cheaper as bills are included, and you won't be too far from the library. I had an ensuite in first year because I'm not a big fan on sharing.
They have a few videos showing the different room options. Some of the buildings look quite old and some look kind of newer.
Does anybody know the difference between Band B and Band C accommodation? Not too sure which to choose!

V helpful, thankyou! Not sure if the Band C rooms are worth it for an extra £10 a week, especially as I will be a Nursing student and may be away a lot at placements.
