Gap year jobs for 18 year olds?
I'm taking a gap year before uni. I'm trying to find a job (ideally waitressing/ healthcare assistant as I want to study medicine) but so many jobs I've looked at in my area require previous experience, NVQ qualifications Etc. I have never been employed before. Does anyone know of any organisations/ websites that may help? Or am I looking at the wrong types of jobs?
Volunteer in a charity shop for a few months before applying. Then you'll have the retail experience and you can apply to the jobs you want to get.
