Real Bank issues! help!

Hi guys, i'm an international student and i'll be completely new to the banking system in the UK! i'll be glad if you could provide me with some information about opening a bank account here in the uk for instance:
1. Which is the best bank for students at sheffield?
2. When can we open a student account?
3. What privileges do you get as a student when u open such an account?
4. What's the maximum amount of money i can transfer to my account from my home country?
i'll be glad if you could provide me with even more informations on top of replying the above questions!

2. Whenever, most of us already have them
3. A bonus (I think about £50) OR a five year railcard, but you can't get it till you have a uni acceptance letter, so after results if you have a conditional offer.

Natwest - Give you an overdraft limit of upto £1250, and offer either £55 or a 5 year railcard.
