What's the easiest or best way to remember information? Especially things you struggled on more and find more difficult to remember,

Writing it down and trying to remember it? How much should I be doing this

Just basically asking for general revision advice

I used to find writing little chunks on flashcards useful as I could come back to them and they were only little pieces to remember. Alternatively, I used a whiteboard so I could write things out over and over again without wasting paper (and it is easier to change and generally write on)
