What are the things they could possibly ask us to write ??? Like letter, newspaper article ...???

Letter, speech, essay or article. It's unlikely to be a newspaper article; they sometimes ask for an article for a website. Each of these has a specific layout. A letter needs to be set out correctly, with address, date, Dear... , Yours sincerely. A speech must address the listener 'Hi everyone, my name is...' . An article or essay needs a title.

The key thing is effective communication. Make sure that sentences are controlled, and there is a structure to your argument.
