How Can I Get A Costco Membership?

You are only eligible for a Costco card if you have a type of profession, unfortunately I'm a student so it's almost impossible to be a 'qualified lawyer' or a 'qualified dentist' etc, does anyone know if there's a way to get a card another way? I wouldn't mind buying one either.

Why do you need to shop at Costco anyway (if you don't mind me asking)? The stuff they sell in there is in quantities even the average American would consider "big" lol.
