how does freshers work at newcastle university? are there many people even doing pharmacy at newcastle or is it a redundant degree?

The official Newcastle University Freshers website has the events programme, and you can buy your wristband there too. Most UG students move into halls the weekend of Saturday 23 September, and that's when Freshers' Week activities start. If you've got any specific questions then I'll do my best to answer them

I'm doing pharmacology if that counts. Sure I've seen somewhere only about 20-30 people apply for that, most go for biomed.
