Conventional academic institutions, practise an outdated methodology when it comes to the outreach of student talent. Most of these centres fail to facilitate extensive degree study, they lack sympathy on the agony of anxiety and therefore refuse to support a budding seed of intellect that could've been flourished and cultivated to then contribute and fuel British Economy.
The OU is different. Providing students who are victims of mental health, with comprehensive tutoring and scholastic materials in environments which they find comfort and ease not only harnesses ability which could've been lost but also encourages mastery of the field, by removing the extra variables of anxiety, stress and pain for certain students, they can then be more committed to endeavour and prosper.
This is just one angle from which the OU can be classed as a pioneering gem of British society, and it's motivating to know growing numbers of employers recognise the rigour of academia OU students are exposed to and how the lack of entry requirements doesn't infringe on the quality of the services, the fact that the University's degrees are accredited by the principal regulators gives testimony to this!
