Teenage Hairloss☹️

I am a 16 year old girl and my hair has been rapidly falling out for the past 8 months.I have lost nearly three quarters of my hair in such a short period of time and it is really affecting my self esteem. I had very think hair and often gained compliments on it, now it is heart breaking to look in the mirror.
By even touching my hair, many strands fall out.I have developed anxiety as I worry that I will become bald in the coming years.

Please can someone give me advice on how to reduce my hairloss!
Have you seen a doctor? It might be alopecia-rapid hair loss that is often triggered by things like stress. I know of a few people with it. Sorry I can’t be of further help.
If it's in your genes, then there's little you can do about it...welp, i dunno much about female hair loss but I don't think it is as bad as male hair loss.
Don't so worry about it. For minor hairloss, you can use a mixture of coconut oil mixed with vitamin E capsules but it the hairloss is at the severe stage then you need to consult with an expert hair transplant surgeon.

There should be a shampoo that you can use, I had the same problem but with me it was only a little bit of hair, went doctors and I took a blood test and app I was lacking iron, so pills were given, but I wasnt keeping up with them everyday, so I went doctors again and they give a shampoo(which stinkss) but it worked and now my hair is doing fine
So sorry!! I have patchy hair and I'm currently using a homemade concoction- coconut oil boiled with rosemary, thyme honey and linseed. This has helped my sister and I immensely!! In the meantime, try wearing wigs, that boosted my friend's self-esteem. I would also advise you to go to your GP or the doctor, as it could be alopecia or something else. Don't worry though, you'll be comfortable in your skin in no time!!

I'm so sorry this is happening. Have you seen a doctor about this? If not, you definitely should. If you've seen your GP and they haven't helped, try getting referred to a specialist. It sounds like this is really causing you distress, which will only make it worse, and that's a really good reason to be seen about it
so sorry to hear that, it sounds like your hair loss is stress related, which can really mess up hormones a lot.

consult a doctor immediately, it could be something serious. get this out the way, and if its nothing else, then the good news is, womens hair loss is very fixable.

try the methods on this post here: http://humancure.com/10-ways-to-thick-hair/

it basically talks about all the things used in helping get thick hair for men and women. the best advice is to stop eating high carbs, fat and sugars and go on a lean protein and leafy greens diet and supplement from collagen sourced from beef.

last but not least, take a B complex vitamin everyday, and relax your emotions. if you get in a lot of fights, or situations that really affectis your emotions, get out of it. you need to relax yourself, go for long walks even if its cold. it has a huge affect on hormones and this in turn helps hair and skin.

be well, if you need further advice please feel free to message me.

Yes, as everyone has already said, seek a doctor first, and then if nothing happens and they make sure its nothing worse, you can do other remedies which will help, and most likely it is very easily resolved, considering your age and that your a girl, as female hair loss is curable.
